Welcome to an Amazing place...

As Hollywood's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, I feel very privileged to be leading such an amazing team of professionals who pride themselves on delivering the very best care and service to our patients.

Hollywood's reputation as a provider of outstanding health care is well-known throughout the Western Australian community. Over the years, I have had many friends and family who have either been cared for or have worked at the hospital and they all say there is something very special about Hollywood.

This is what we call the 'Hollywood Spirit'. It is the unique passion of our committed team who recognise we have the privilege of caring for people who entrust us with their health and well-being. We repay this trust by valuing our patients' care and comfort above all else.

Our Ramsay core values are the foundation of the hospital, and along with the Hollywood Spirit include, Respect for the Individual, Teamwork, Contribution to the Community and Pursuit of Excellence.

From very humble beginnings in 1942, Hollywood has undergone significant redevelopments and expansions that have seen the hospital evolve into a modern 659-bed facility. In addition, Hollywood is an acknowledged Centre of Excellence in several medical specialties such as orthopaedics, urology, cardiology, general surgery, rehabilitation, psychiatry and oncology and we continue to expand our hospital to meet the needs of our patients.
