Art in Bloom 2006

At Hollywood Private Hospital we believe in healing the body and the soul.  We believe that art is healing and therefore proudly support the arts in Western Australia.  In 2006 Hollywood Private Hospital was the inaugural sponsor of Art In Bloom, hosted by The Art Gallery of WA attended by almost 20,000 visitors in three days.

Thousands of flowers of every variety and colour filled the gallery for three days in late September, as local artists and celebrities brought their own floral interpretation to over 100 exhibited works of art.

Stress and anxiety are sometimes an unavoidable part of working in a hospital, so Hollywood Private Hospital felt that participating in Art in Bloom would contribute to helping foster a positive spirit.

Hollywood’s participants for Art in Bloom included fertility specialist Dr Simon Turner, urologist Dr Jessica Yin, art therapist Dena Lawrence, geriatrician Dr Arthur Criddle, Christine Cass-Ryall on behalf of Kevin Cass-Ryall and Marketing and PR Manager Penny Tassone.
